My name is Christian Pfrang.

I am extremely optimistic about humanity's empowerment by modern autonomous technology. The tools at the disposal of individuals to create value, to learn, to build and to connect are unprecedented.

In fact, we are living through a Medici moment. The invention of letters of credit, deposit banking, and double entry book-keeping made it possible to ground an explosion of global commerce and transactions in trust, precision and legibility.

Today we can increasingly take advantage of tokenisation rails for securities transfers, stablecoins to enable programmable payments, and smart contracts that can encode business logic. This will push global growth through the emergence of entirely new forms of commercial decisions and relationships, delegated to machines.

Yet it is absolutely clear that we need to build new foundational infrastructural layers that enable precision and legibility commensurate to the needs and the speed of the emerging autonomous and programmable economy. This especially true, because the geopolitics of the 21st century will make the rules of legitimate commerce more, not less, complex.

I am contributing to this by making anti-money laundering processes compatible with the speed of on-chain transactions.
